After plucking an apple from the tree of knowledge Adam and Eve become aware of their nudity — and feel ashamed.

But Eve uses the newly gained knowledge of the forbidden fruit. She makes her own apple leather.

She wants something new to wear, something which she does not have to be ashamed of: a material that is not only 100% biodegradable but also quite tasty.

There is no such thing as a “neutral” material. Every material has its own connotations and meaning. These material connotations influence the meaning of a product. Their story can be a vital part of a product design.
